My birthday was a few months ago – one that most people consider one of the pivotal ones.  It was definitely an interesting mental and emotional turning point for me.  It is amazing how time flies and how we often feel that we have all of the time in the world to go certain places, do certain things, and tell the important people in our lives how much they mean to us.  I have two aunts that have suffered strokes over the past 6 months and an uncle who developed terminal cancer and recently died as a result of his disease.  While my aunts are doing better and getting stronger on a daily basis, it does make you think – tomorrow is not promised.

Which made me ask myself the question:

If I were to die tomorrow, what would my life have meant?

Would the world have been a better place because I was here?

Have you ever stopped from your daily grind long enough to honestly ask yourself that question? It was definitely an eye opener for me..and if you haven’t taken the time yet – I encourage you to do so!

We all have a purpose.  A reason why we were born.  A reason why were born into a certain family and a reason that we have had certain experiences  in life.

It is up to us to take every day that we have been given above ground and make it the best day possible.  Unfortunately, too many of us are caught up in the rat race of corporate America, chasing that perpetual piece of cheese for 40 years and retiring with little to nothing to show for it.  As a result of this, we cannot be a true blessing to others because we are spending so much of our life battling to just maintain a halfway comfortable lifestyle.  A lot of you do not have the luxury of thinking about what you want to do with your life or what your passion is, because you are stuck in survival mode. There has got to be a better way…

You can achieve all of your dreams.  You can fulfill God’s purpose for your life.  You can a have real joy and passion for life.  But you cannot do that if your broke.

This site  was put together with the idea to inspire you to revisit your hopes and dreams and start to make them real to you.  My goal is to motivate and inspire you to stop sitting on the sidelines of life and instead take massive action, which will lead to massive results!   You will find motivating words of inspiration, chronicles of people who took action and achieved personal and career success against the odds and used their success to be a blessing to others, and step by step FREE training, showing you how you can do the same! Have you ever been around someone who never fulfilled their goals and dreams for their life?  Well unfortunately, I have.  In fact I can say with almost certain confidence that we all have at one time or another.  These people are often people who had extreme talents, gifts and abilities that they either never fully developed or somewhere along the way, lost confidence in.

The unfortunate thing in life is that often times people do not have a support system around them that not only encourages them to be great but offers the support system and DEMONSTRATES how to be great. Many people surround themselves with people who have a (for lack of a better, more accurate word) loser mentality.  These people are defeated before they even start.  They will go to great lengths to tell you why something won’t work.  Why you can’t do that…and basically do everything that they can to keep you stuck in the same place where they are.  These types of people very likely had their own dreams and confidence snatched away from them by someone else over the course of their own lives and either unconsciously or consciously will try to destroy your ambition and hopes for the future.  Nowadays we generally refer to them as haters.  The funny thing is sometimes we don’t recognize that the biggest haters and enemies to our success are so often our own family and close friends.

So my challenge to you today is threefold:

a) Take a look at the company that you are keeping.  Are you surrounding yourself with people who are challenging you and helping you grow as a person? Are you hanging out with y people who are striving to do better in life and are working at it everyday?  Are they people that talk about how they will do something  ’when their ship comes in’ – but they are never working to go build that ship?  Do the people in your life hate on your goals and dreams and try to keep you from trying something different in life?   Take a cold hard look at the people that you are closest to and remember that you are the people that you associate with.  If you don’t like what you see, I suggest you make some changes and you make them quick!

b) If you knew that there was  NO WAY POSSIBLE THAT YOU COULD FAIL, what would you be doing right now?  Where would you be living?  What would be your activities on a daily basis?  Who would be there with you? If you were to die tomorrow, what would you like to be remembered for?  Based on your life as you live it today, would those around you remember you for that thing? (Take some time to write this down)

c) Start paying attention to what you spend your time on.  So many of us spend our time and energy on irrelevant things that mean nothing to getting us further along in life.  So many people are stuck in party mode and then turn around one day and can’t figure out why they have not accomplished anything in life.  After you have written down  what you would be doing with your life if failure was not  an option, start looking at what you can do today, to bring your goals to fruition.  If you find yourself engaged with people and activities that do not support your goals then you need to let that go.  Remember whatever you focus on is what manifests in your life.  If you focus on nothing…well, you just manifest nothing.

So many of us think that there is some magic potion that successful people drink that the rest of us aren’t have privy to.  We think that some how along the line, successful people had more advantage than us, are smarter than us, got lucky, or just magically appeared at the level that they are at.

Success is not magical.  It is the culmination of doing little things every day that bring you closer to your goal. That’s it.

If you truly want success in your life, look at the things that you are doing on a daily basis and analyze if they are leading you closer to your goals.

Have you ever started off really passionate and excited about something and then as time wore off your excitement and motivation slowly but surely faded away?  It’s kind of like when you make that yearly new years resolution to lose some weight.  You go to the gym for a few weeks, eat a couple of salads and then because of a lack of urgency in your task you stop and go back to your old habits.

Have you ever heard the saying that ‘Old Habits Die Hard?’ If that is indeed the case, how do you create a sense of urgency?  You create a sense of urgency by having specific goals that are specific, written down and have time lines.  Using your business as an example if you would like to make a certain amount of money this year, you could do this by breaking it down to how many sales that you need to get per day in order to achieve your goal.  When you monitor your goal on a daily basis, it will be much easier for you to determine if you are on track and also in turn make the necessary adjustments to make sure that you stay on track.

Now go out there and get busy!

If you have been in the MLM/Network Marketing business for any period of time, you have undoubtedly been pitched your upline on purchasing leads as a means to generate more people to talk to about your opportunity.  To be blunt and straight to the point, the issue with purchasing leads (in case you do not already know), is that they are a complete waste of your time and money!

You can pretty much think of paid leads as the offline equivalent of spam.  Sure at some point, the person entered their contact information because they were interested in getting some info on starting a home based business, but by the time that lead gets to you- they have almost always forgotten that they have done so.  Additionally because anybody can buy these types of leads there is no emotional connection so in their mind you are nothing but a nameless, faceless telemarketer.

It is likely that you hesitated at the task of generating your own MLM leads because you figured that it would be a lot more work – and I am not going to lie to you, it is; however generating your own leads will give you a much higher rate of return than buying someone else’s.   Whether you are looking to build your downline or expand your customer base, generating your own MLM leads is the only way to go.  Here’s why:

1.  When you generate your own MLM leads you know that they are opting into your lead list voluntarily and that their information is correct (usually).  You don’t have to worry about buying information that is old or outdated.  What’s more, you know that they are interested in your business!

2.  When you generate your own MLM leads, you  build relationships both online and off (depending on your lead generation methods).  Building a relationship with your leads promises a far greater rate of return because your leads know who they are doing business with.  When you build a relationship you are no longer a faceless newsletter or email.  You are a person that they can trust!

3.  When you generate your own MLM leads your prospects build a bond with you.  When you take the time to connect with your prospects your business becomes less of a commodity and more about a relationship.  As we all know, people do business with those that they respect and like.  The leads you generate will be more likely to refer even more leads to you through their own social and business networks!  Your business can grow by leaps and bounds when you build in this manner.

4.  When it comes to customer leads, the leads you generate yourself are more likely to be repeat customers.  There are basically two types of leads that you are looking for as a MLM business owner, customer leads and business opportunity leads.  Leads that you purchase tend to be  people who are “just curious” or who will try your product or business for a day or two and then drop out.  The leads you generate yourself are generated by your relationship with that person and that relationship is what will encourage your customers to continue ordering and/or join your business.

The bottom line is this:  you know what you are getting when you generate your own leads.  You know that the people opting in to learn more about you and your business are interested in you and what you have to offer. You don’t have to worry about being yet another annoying phone call or ending up in someone’s spam email box.  When you generate your own MLM leads you put a face onto your business—something that roughly ninety percent of your competitors never do.

Remember that in Network Marketing, YOU are the product.  Your prospect needs to determine if you are the leader that they trust to add value and show them how to become successful.
